Aged Tan Chesterfield sofas
Aged Tan is the warm, honeyed mid-brown that shows the grain of buffalo hide more clearly than any other colour we make. It is the most-photographed leather in our range, because it is the one that looks most obviously like real hide in a photograph.
How it ages
Tan changes more than any other colour in the range, and faster. Expect a visible deepening within months, and a genuine patina — lighter on the raised buttons, darker in the creases — within a couple of years. If you want a sofa that looks lived-in quickly, this is it.
What it sits well with
Forgiving. Works with white, cream, sage, dusty pink and almost any wood tone. It is the safest choice in the range and the one we send most often as a first sample.
