Dimensions

We are not going to publish dimensions for this model until the workshop drawings are signed off — a sofa that does not fit is the worst possible outcome for both of us, and a provisional number is worse than no number. As a hospitality piece it's made to length for your space rather than sold at one fixed width — tell us your booth or wall run and we'll confirm sizing. Get in touch and we'll send you the current specification, and check your access measurements with you before you order.

Materials & Construction

Leather. Top-grain buffalo hide, aniline-dyed in-house. Every hide carries natural grain variation and healed marks — the signature of the real material, and why no two sofas are identical.

Frame. Kiln-dried hardwood, corner-blocked and cross-braced at every stress point. The legs aren't screwed on — they're built into the frame itself as structural members, which is why the furniture carries the weight it does.

Suspension. Heavy-duty polypropylene webbing — the same class of material as a seat belt. Minimal stretch, no rot, and none of the squeak that spring systems develop with age. It's how the seat keeps its support and shape over years of use.

Cushions and tufting. High-density foam cores, upholstered and deep-buttoned by hand — every button pulled and tied individually, every brass stud placed one at a time.

Living with it. Your sofa arrives deliberately dry and wants its first coat of conditioner from you — how to care for top-grain buffalo hide.

Shipping & Delivery

Lead time. 8–10 weeks from deposit to delivery — 4–6 weeks hand-building, then around four weeks for freight, customs clearance and final-mile delivery. We confirm your window when you order and email you at each stage.

Duties paid, nothing on arrival. We ship delivered duty paid and are the declared importer of record, so all import duty and taxes are settled before your sofa reaches you. No courier holding it against a customs charge, no invoice three weeks later.

Two-person delivery to your room of choice. Includes unpacking, fitting your real legs (sofas travel on short protective ones), positioning, and taking the packaging away. Monday to Friday, AM or PM slot, with a call about an hour before the team arrives.

Measure first, please. Doorways, hallways, stairwells, lifts and turning space. Frames are built and upholstered by hand, so allow up to 3cm either way against any stated dimension. Send us your measurements and a photo of the route if you are unsure and we will tell you honestly whether it will go in. If access fails on the day, a flat £75 charge applies to each further attempt.

Where we deliver. United Kingdom (mainland). Europe is quoted by hand rather than through this checkout — send us your postcode.

Payment. 30% deposit today; the remaining 70% is charged to the same card once your sofa is finished, and we email you at least three days beforehand with the exact amount and date. Nothing ships until the balance is settled.
